A Legacy of Architectural Scale & Sacred Patronage

The Atelier is our space for extraordinary, large-scale custom creations. Beyond our core collections, our master artisan collective is regularly commissioned by high monasteries, cultural guardians, and private collectors to forge historically significant masterworks.

Below is a glimpse into the grand scale of our lineage craftsmanship in active spaces of devotion.

The Gilded Presence

  • The Artifact: A monumental, fire-gilded and 24K gold-plated Shakyamuni Buddha sculpture.

  • The Patronage: Commissioned by a prominent Himalayan Gumba (monastery) as the central shrine centerpiece for resident monks and practitioners.

  • The Story: Standing at an imposing architectural scale, this masterwork required over six months of continuous, synchronized labor by our elite deity sculptors. Starting from raw copper sheeting, the physical form was entirely hand-beaten, detailed with razor-sharp iconographic precision, and finished with traditional mercury fire-gilding. It now rests in the main prayer hall, anchoring the temple with a profound, radiant aura of absolute stillness.

The Living Heritage of Indra Jatra

$[Image: A colossal, intricately detailed wooden and metal chariot structure surrounded by a vibrant cultural festival]$

  • The Artifact: A massive, multi-tiered ceremonial festival chariot and sacred woodcraft ensemble.

  • The Patronage: Commissioned for the historic Indra Jatra festival in Kathmandu, Nepal.

  • The Story: Built to withstand immense weight and movement during Kathmandu’s most sacred street festival, this project pushed our master woodcrafters and metalsmiths to their absolute limits. Every pillar, beam, and panel features deep-relief hand carvings of protective deities, traditional Newari floral motifs, and structural iron reinforcement forged from raw metal. It serves as a living, breathing testament to our collective’s ability to build durable, museum-grade monuments that keep ancient traditions alive.

 The Monastic Resonance

  • The Artifact: A colossal, deep-resonance master ceremonial acoustic vessel.

  • The Patronage: Commissioned for a secluded meditation retreat center in the high Himalayas.

  • The Story: Weighing over 40 kilograms and spanning a massive diameter, this acoustic vessel was engineered purely for sound therapy and monastic assembly. A team of four master craftsmen synchronized their hammer strikes over weeks, beating the raw seven-metal alloy through intense heat cycles. The result is a sound that does not just play, but vibrates through the entire architecture—holding a single, pure harmonic frequency for several minutes to perfectly ground the human mind during deep meditation.
