Welcome to Studio Himalo. By accessing our gallery and acquiring our masterworks, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them mindfully.

1. The Craftsmanship Covenant (Handmade Nature)

Every piece showcased in our gallery is entirely handmade by our collective of master artisans in the Kathmandu Valley. Because these are created using ancestral methods:

  • Minor variations in metal patination, wood grain, canvas texture, and subtle tool marks are not considered flaws.

  • These are the natural, authentic fingerprints of the artist and are a testament to the museum-grade quality of the masterwork.

2. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are displayed in your local currency (e.g., GBP/USD) and are subject to change based on live banking conversion rates.

  • Because our items are high-ticket, one-of-a-kind physical investments, payments must clear in full before any masterwork leaves our atelier in Nepal.

3. High-Value Shipping & Customs

  • We ship worldwide via fully insured, tracked express couriers (DHL/FedEx) using custom wooden crating and archival packaging.

  • While we handle all export documentation out of Nepal, the patron (buyer) is responsible for any local import duties, VAT, or customs clearance fees required by their respective country upon arrival.

4. Returns & Fragile Transits

  • If a masterwork does not resonate with your intentional sanctuary, you must notify our concierge within 7 days of delivery to request a return.

  • Because these are highly fragile cultural assets, returns must be pre-authorized, shipped in their original custom packaging, and fully insured at the patron's expense.

  • Damaged Deliveries: In the rare event of transit damage, you must notify us within 24 hours with photographic evidence of both the crate and the artwork so we can initiate an immediate insurance and replacement claim.

5. Intellectual Property

  • All media, text, narratives, artisan profiles, and images on this website are the intellectual property of Studio Himalo.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, or use our digital assets for commercial purposes without explicit, written consent from our studio management.

6. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with standard international e-commerce laws, under the jurisdiction where Studio Himalo's business entity is registered.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you are stepping into a circle of global patronage, directly supporting the livelihoods and preservation of 25-year master artisan lineages.
